Clinicians Iron Boost provides a well absorbed, non-constipating high dose form of iron with important co-factors to enhance iron absorption and utilization in the body. - Evening primrose oil is a plant oil which is rich in the omega-6 essential fatty acid called gamma linolenic acid (GLA)
- With added Vitamin E to protect the GLA from oxidative damage

- Studies show omega-6 essential fatty acids assist the body with normal hormone regulation
Ingredients
Each gelatin capsule contains: Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg
Providing: Gamma Linolenic acid (GLA) 100mg, Other fatty acids (including linolenic acid and oleic acid) 900mg.
Also contains: d-alpha tocopheryl, soybean oil
No added: gluten, dairy, yeast, sugar, artificial colours, sweeteners, flavours or preservatives.
Directions
Adults: 1 to 2 capsules, 2 to 3 times daily.
As a maintenance dose, take 1 capsule once or twice daily.
Manufacturers Precautions
Individuals on blood thinning medications such as warfarin should consult a health professional before taking evening primrose oil especially in high doses as it may affect blood clotting times.
Pregnant or breast feeding women should consult a health professional before taking this product.

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

Description
Carbonyl Iron is 99% pure iron and its small size allows it to be better absorbed than other forms of iron. This means it does not stay in the digestive system causing digestive discomfort and is gentle on the bowels.
Common Uses :
Supports healthy iron levels. Suffering from long or heavy periods. Feel sick or constipated on other iron products but looking for something to support iron levels. Support normal energy levels. Nutritional support for vegan and vegetarian diets those with poor absorption of nutrients that may cause iron imbalances.

Carbonyl Iron (elemental iron 18 mg)
Directions
Adults and children over 8 years: 1 tablet daily.
Swallow whole, do not chew. Do not exceed recommended level.
Manufacturers Precautions
Exceeding the tolerable upper intake level (40-45 mg per day) is not advised in people who are not iron deficient. In people with known iron deficiency, quantities should be determined by a healthcare professional and monitored.
Long term supplementation with high levels of iron can cause haemosiderosis and multiple organ damage. Individuals with haemochromatosis should avoid taking iron supplements unless advised by their doctor.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding : Carbonyl Iron is considered well tolerated and is suitable in maintaining normal iron stores during these times.
Exceeding the recommended one capsule daily should be done under health professional supervision.
