      The berries and flowers of elderberry are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that may boost your immune system. Elderberry Extract (Sambucus nigra) is derived from the small black fruit of the elder tree (Sambucus). Once cooked, the small berries they are loaded with health-boosting properties. Sambucus nigra has been used for centuries as a folk remedy for symptoms of the common cold, flu and viruses. Sambucus nigra / Elderberry Extract is rich in vitamins and minerals and loaded with antioxidants. It is high in fibre, has or may also have the following;

      Suggested Use :
      Take 175mg (1/16 tsp) one to four times daily, or as directed by a doctor.  For accurate measurement use a milligram scale.








      Standard Spoon Measurements:

      1/16 teaspoon = 160mg
      1/8 teaspoon = 320mg
      1/4 teaspoon = 640mg

      Xmas and New Year Open!

      As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

      Packaging

      We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

      Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

      Delivery

      We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

      Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

      We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.
