Description
Methyl Folate is the biologically active, naturally occurring form of folate that is used for fundamental body functions like normal cell division and the synthesis of neurotransmitters and DNA. Unlike regular folic acid, methyl folate has been shown to penetrate the blood-brain barrier, where it helps to support neurological health. Quatrefolic is a patented form of methylfolate that has demonstrated bioavailability superior to that of folate from dietary sources.

(from Quatrefolic (6S)-5-MTHF = Methyltetrahydrofolate Glucosamine Salt)
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Stearic Acid (vegetable source) and Silicon Dioxide.
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Directions
Take 1 tablet daily with a meal.
Manufacturers Precautions
For adults only. The elderly and individuals with conditions that may impair vitamin B-12 absorption should frequently check vitamin B-12 status when taking this product as high-dose folic acid may mask vitamin B-12 deficiency. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication (especially phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone, and methotrexate), or have a medical condition (especially any condition involving nutrient malabsorption). Keep out of reach of children.

Packaging
We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging! It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!
Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.
