Serrapeptase (serratio-peptidase) is a protein-digesting enzyme isolated from the friendly bacterium Serratia E-15 discovered in the Japanese silkworm, and has been used as a nutritional supplement in Europe and Asia for over three decades. Doctor's Best Serrapeptase 40,000 SPU is formulated with Serrateric, a superior alternative to enteric coating that protects the individual enzyme until it reaches the intestine for optimal absorption.

Other Ingredients: Serrateric (maltodextrin, tricalcium phosphate, calcium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, medium chain triglycerides), delayed release vegetarian capsule (modified cellulose, gellan gum, purified water).
Non-GMO, gluten free, vegan.
Directions
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a large glass of water on an empty stomach, or as recommended by a nutritionally-informed physician.
Manufacturers Precautions
Not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, nursing, taking blood thinners, or have poor digestion. Stop taking if you experience nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place.

Packaging
We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging! It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!
Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
