Description
Bromelain is an enzyme derived from pineapple stem and fruit that has proteolytic (protein-digesting) properties. The bromelain found in Doctor's Best 3000 GDU Bromelain is one of the most potent forms of this enzyme found on the market. The 3000 GDU refers to the standardization of enzymatic potency and reflects the quality of the raw material used in the product. Bromelain is renowned for its digestion-enhancing characteristics and also has beneficial systemic effects within the body. Bromelain may also help support cardiovascular and joint health.

Bromelain (extract from pineapple) (stem) (3,000 Gelatin Digesting Units per gram) 500mg
Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose.
Directions
Take 1 capsule with each meal for digestive support, or 1 capsule twice daily for joint support, or as recommended by a nutritionally informed physician.
Manufacturers Precautions
Store in a cool dry place. Consult with a physician before using bromelain, if you are on blood-thinners, other medications, or have medical disorders. Stop using bromelain at least two weeks before surgery. Not recommended for children or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Jarrow Formulas Bromelain is a protein-digesting (proteolytic) enzyme extracted from pineapple sap and stem that supports digestion.
Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme mixture derived from the stem, fruit, and juice of the pineapple plant. Bromelain may be used alone or in conjunction with other medications. Bromelain is also used as a digestive aid and to support reduced soreness in aching muscles.

Directions
